About

Prints and books by Lewis Bush.

Lewis Bush studied history at the University of Warwick, and worked in public health before gaining a master’s degree in documentary photography from the London College of Communication. He has since gone on to produce numerous photographic projects, as well as curating, teaching and writing extensively about photography for the Disphotic photography blog.

A note on editions.

My photographic prints are all open editions. I do this because I think it's dishonest to arbitrarily limit the reproduction of a medium which is inherently reproducible. Limited editions have everything to do with inflating the perceived value of art, and little to do with the art itself. When I produce prints using processes which are by nature limited (for example screen prints) I include an edition size.
